The popular and cheap G-series of Motorola phones has an update, and rumors point increasingly towards some new models that arrive very soon. The latest leaks suggest that the next Moto G6 could be released next month along with two additional versions: a G6 Play and a G6 Plus.
The pages on Fry's website, which have since been removed, indicated that the phones would be launched in mid-May. They will probably be announced sometime before that.
It is expected that the Moto G6 is located in the middle of the group. It will have a 5.7-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, a slightly higher resolution than 1080p, 32 GB of storage, a fingerprint reader in the front and a dual camera system in the back. According to AndroidHeadlines, it will work with a Snapdragon 450 processor and a 3,000 mAh battery. Fry's list said it would sell for $ 250. There is nothing particularly prominent about those specifications at that price (although dual cameras are not very common on cheaper phones), but Motorola G phones have always stood out for Be complete, without falling into big ways.
Almost all the details seem to have leaked
Then there's the Moto G6 Plus, which is supposed to have a 5.93-inch screen, with the same 18: 9 aspect ratio and a slightly higher resolution than 1080p. There is no new information on the G6 Plus today, but previous leaks indicated that it would have multiple RAM and storage options, up to 64 GB. It will also work on a Snapdragon 630, which makes it a faster and more expensive phone than the standard G6.
G6 Play is supposed to be the entry-level model. Traditionally, Motorola has given the Play models bigger batteries, and that will apparently be the case once again. AndroidHeadlines says it should include a 4000 mAh battery, which should last up to a second day of use. As a comparison, the Galaxy S9 has a 3,000 mAh battery, and is a much more demanding phone. The disadvantage is that the Play will be of lower level in other ways. It will have a Snapdragon 427 processor and only one camera. And while it will maintain the 5.7-inch screen of the normal model, it seems that the resolution will be less than 1080p. Fry had it on the list for $ 200.
