August smart lock users can now ask Google Assistant if their doors are locked

The devices supported by the Google Assistant are now compatible with August DoorSense, the intelligent integrated sensor of the intelligent locking company. Now, if a user has DoorSense installed, they can check with the Google Assistant if their door is locked and locked.
Users can now use voice commands with the Smart Lock of August and the Smart Lock Pro through the Google Assistant on selected Android devices, the Google Assistant application on iOS, Google Home and other portable devices. To enable it, your August lock must be connected to Wi-Fi via an August Wi-Fi bridge or an August bell camera.
Previously, users would have to include "Ask August" on their requests to lock the front door or check if the door was locked: the language has now been simplified to "Hey Google, is the door closed?" To add the lock to your Google Assistant application, tap the blue drawer icon in the upper right corner. Then go to Settings> Local Control, tap the plus sign icon in the lower right corner to add devices and select Start August and sign in.
