Maybe the robot dinosaurs will encourage your children to code. Mattel exhibited a Jurassic World coding toy this weekend, the newest addition to its line of Kamigami educational robots, at the New York City Toy Fair. The robots are essentially the same as the original Kamigami, except that the plastic covers that you place on the robotic core build a dinosaur instead of an error. You have probably seen similar concepts before.
The dinosaurs combine via Bluetooth with a new iOS / Android application from Jurassic World, and children can drag and drop code to do things. Robots can move, light up, make noise or participate in different interactions. In particular, I loved his dance mode.
