Last year, at San Diego Comic-Con, HBO hosted Westworld: The Experience, an immersive activation that allowed guests to visit the offices of Delos, Inc., thanks to an impressive set and the performance of many committed actors. At this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, the network is increasing that bet by recreating the entire Sweetwater city of the series. SXSW is known for its generous brand activations, but this seems a significant step forward from past experiences.
Known as the "Live Without Limits Weekend", the experience will run from March 9 to 11, serving as part of the HBO marketing launch for the second season of Westworld. The creators of the series Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan also participate in a panel with several cast members …
