Libratone announced the Wireless Track + headphones earlier this year at CES, and they are finally available in the US. UU Today for $ 199. It is planned that a European release will be published sometime next month for € 199.
The Track + are essentially a wireless version of the company's Q-Adapt wired headset, with the same design and adjustable noise cancellation, but without the cord for a wireless, neckbud style. Libratone says that headphones should have up to eight hours of battery life with noise cancellation. They also have an IPX4 rating against sweat and splash.
According to my colleague Vlad Savov, who had the opportunity to test the headphones recently, the sound in the Track + headphones is a little disappointing, especially in comparison to the Q-Adapt headphones with Libratone cable. However, he praised his ability to maintain a loud and resonant sound in the ear, but silent when he takes it as "perhaps the best I've ever tried."
