Nest Cam IQ provided state-of-the-art intelligence to indoor security cameras. And now, we're bringing the same intelligence to the outdoors with the Nest Cam IQ outdoor security camera.
Like its indoor cousin, Nest Cam IQ outdoor can distinguish a person from a thing and send an alert if someone is there. So do not worry unnecessarily about a pine tree swinging in the front yard or a petunia on your porch. And with Nest Aware, a subscription service that adds intelligence and video storage, Nest Cam IQ Outdoor can recognize a familiar face and even help you detect strangers.
It is strong enough to withstand rain, snow and wind with high resistance waterproofing. And the power cord is hidden, so it is tamper-proof and secure on the side of your house.
And just like the indoor version, Nest Cam IQ includes Supersight. With its 4K digital sensor, HDR and 1080p HD video, Supersight allows you to zoom in up to 12x and get an enhanced view of a specific area, such as your driveway. You can also make an automatic approach and follow a person walking through your yard. And it will show you a close-up tracking plane with a wide 130 ° view.
To bark! Who goes there?
If the Nest Cam IQ detects a barking dog or a talking person, it can send you an alert.2 Then, you can check the Nest app to see and hear what's going on there. If someone goes around, ask them what they want or tell them to leave. HD Talk and Listen uses the Nest Cam IQ speaker, a three-microphone system, noise suppression and echo cancellation to ensure the conversation is clear and fluent.
Your first line of defense
Intruders never want to be seen in the camera. So, when they detect Nest Cam IQ at your door, they can scare them. If they even try to get in, you can send a video clip to the police, which helps catch them more quickly.
So, it's bad news for the bad guys. The Nest Cam IQ Outdoor, the Nest Hello video doorbell and the Nest Secure alarm system will help you keep your home safe, from the front door to the backyard and anywhere in between.
1 Video streaming, video recording and mobile notifications require Internet connection and Wi-Fi. Family face alerts are not available on cameras used in Illinois.2 Requires a subscription to Nest Aware (sold separately).
