Amazon acquired the rights to the franchise for $ 250 million

Amazon goes to Middle Earth. In November 2017, it acquired the rights of J.R.R. The famous literary world of Tolkien, home of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, for an amount of $ 250 million for rights.
