It is reported that Samsung plans to cut production of OLED panels, following Apple's decision to start manufacturing fewer iPhone X phones, according to the Nikkei Asian Review. Instead of supplying panels for 45 to 50 million iPhones, Samsung will now only manufacture organic light-emitting diode panels for 20 million or less iPhones this quarter.
The company has not decided on its production target for the quarter from April to June, but Nikkei reports that "there may be a new cut", without citing sources. According to reports, Apple reduced the production of the iPhone X by half in response to an alleged lower demand from consumers.
