We already knew the vast majority of innovations and new features that will debut tomorrow at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2018 event. The only thing we needed was a well produced video that showed us the characteristics of the new Galaxy S9, and Samsung was kind enough to do so, courtesy of its launch video, which managed to slip away in public a little earlier.
"The phone, Reimagined." It is the slogan of the new device, which will be configured as the first smartphone with a double-aperture camera, keeping most other specifications relatively unchanged. The video shows a new automatic translator incorporated into the Samsung camera application, which seems to work very similar to the Google Translate option for live translation through the camera. The S9 also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and fits the existing Galaxy S8 as expected. Press the Play button to watch the video and stay tuned to The Verge to get to know it completely on Samsung's new flagship phone at noon ET on Sunday.
