If you bought a new phone last year, you will most likely have wireless charging capability. Most new Android phones have had wireless charging capabilities for some years, and Apple entered the game last year with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Using a Qi charging platform is a small change that only saves you a few seconds a day, but those seconds add up. Also, if your phone does not have a headphone jack and you have not invested in Bluetooth headsets, you can still listen to music while charging the phone (without having to use a security device).
Last year, The Verge rounded up our favorite Qi chargers and landed on the RavPower Fast Charge wireless charging platform as the best wireless charger on the market. RavPower outperformed other brands such as Anker and Samsung due to its fast charging capacity, its sleek design and its 24W power block.
When RavPower Fast Charge was launched, it cost $ 49.99. It's more expensive than most wireless chargers, but that 24W power pack, a necessity for fast charging, would cost you another $ 15 more or less if you purchased it separately. The RavPower Fast Charge is currently on Amazon for $ 44.99, but Verge readers can get it for $ 29.99 with the code 34CHARGE.
This agreement extends until 11:59 p.m. PT on March 5.
