Another case of Game Boy for his phone has appeared in the market, this time from Wanle Cases. The thin case, which fits the back of an iPhone 6, 6S, 6 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus or X, comes loaded with 10 games and has the familiar design of Game Boy controls.
Wanle's case is nourished by a certain nostalgia, built with an old school screen and preloaded with retro titles like Tetris, Tank, Formula One Racing and Snake and Block. It is not clear from the company's website if you are limited to the games that come with the case, but hey, 10 games should be enough to waste time. This is notably different from the Smart Boy "case" that made the rounds in 2015, which was actually more of a dock where he had to place his phone.
The attractiveness of Wanle's design is that it is not annoying. Not only does it not interfere with the normal use of the phone, it is also done with full access to the port for the buttons, microphone, speaker, headphone jack, dock and phone flash. It is worth noting that several revisions on the Wanle site point to minor problems, such as the quality of the materials used, and the buttons sometimes do not work as they should. In general, however, it seems to work as planned and people notice that they love to use it even with these small complaints.
To use the case, simply slide a small battery into the inside corner, turn it on as you would any other regular phone case, and immediately it's good to go. Wanle says that the slightly raised plastic buttons make it practical too, protecting your phone against inevitable falls and bumps. As ingenious as having a case that really does something fun, I am also disturbed by the possibility of having twice as many screens to break and scratch.
The case is now available in both black and white options at a discounted price of $ 24.95. The company's website says that the regular sale price is $ 79.95.
