Microsoft began selling its Surface Pro with LTE to commercial customers in December, and now the company is opening sales to consumers today. Two models will be available, both with the latest Intel Core i5 7300U processor (and fanless design). A model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will cost $ 1,149, and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage will cost $ 1,449.
Pre-orders start today at the Microsoft online store, although it seems that only the 8 GB RAM model is available to order at this time. Devices must be shipped before May 1 and will also be available at Best Buy retail stores. None of the models are shipped with the required type cover ($ 129) or the optional surface marker ($ 99), since both are sold separately, so you should consider this additional cost.
